“The vacation of a lifetime”, that is the only way we can describe our week here at Villa El Cantico. Our group comprised of three families (6 adults, 9 children) which enjoyed every minute of our stay. Each activity was a unique and fun experience. The canopy tour was thrilling and exciting, if not a bit scary at first. Manuel Antonio Park was interesting and offered some beautiful views and beaches. Surf lessons at Playa Espadilla was a highlight for the kids and everyone enjoyed relaxing under a shade tree there. The real highlight for all though was the catamaran excursion on the “Spanish Lady”. Peaceful sailing, swimming, snorkeling, and a magnificent sunset made for a truly memorable day. This home was ideal for our group, the layout and accommodations were perfect, the views spectacular and the service was superb. Our chefs Renzo and Michael were without question, “fantastico”. Each meal they prepared was delicious and bountiful. We truly appreciated the time and care they took to prepare each menu to meet our specific tastes and needs. Andrea was very thorough and insured that the house was neat and Gilbert kept the pool and grounds in beautiful condition. Thank you Melissa for making our stay so magical. You are an outstanding host and a brilliant ambassador for Costa Rica. We wish all who follow us a fabulous stay in this wonderful villa.

Sometimes “word of mouth” is the best advertisement! My twin brother and his family stayed here 2 years ago and couldn’t have recommended it more! They all said it was their best trip ever, and we whole-heartedly agree! It didn’t take more than one conversation with Melissa to convince me to commit early in the year for our family vacation. Even with high expectations, they were greatly exceeded. The house setting and numerous choices of excursions was outstanding. We only wish that we could stay longer. The family dubbed this trip “Nana’s extreme adventure 2008”, as we were impressed with the challenging activities of our matriarch-canopy tour which included Tarzan swinging and repelling, white water rafting, deep sea fishing-it was an adventure of a lifetime! The beauty of the area and the friendliness of the people are exceptional. We appreciate Melissa and Kevin’s guidance and kind assistance with our planning. Trust that we may return in the not too distant future.
